Goodbyes

We often struggle to let go and say goodbye because it's difficult to leave a situation. Leaving feels so permanent and written off. Acting on a goodbye, especially when someone or something remains deeply ingrained in your heart. Farewell is not definitive, not a boundary to cross to erase memories. Love cannot be undone. Memories linger in scents, outfits, and little trinkets. Names cannot be forgotten, and the essence of being with that special person remains vivid.

Being so immersed in the hope of another being is a feeling that's hard to put into words. These people don't stay gone forever. People resurface unexpectedly, in familiar places, shared laughter, and nostalgic spots. Goodbye is not a straightforward concept; it is not truly goodbye for those who still hold affection.
